You're drawing of Jim I saw in the doors tag is absolutely sick!!!! You're massively talented!! — mad-man-with-a-bowtie

Gwaaah I still have a long way to go but thank you so much! ;o; It’s rare for me to see another fan of The Doors who’s around my age!! X3

♫ Well, the music is your special friend!

This is Jim Morrison, the lead vocalist & poet of The Doors. I’m a new fan of their music! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ

If you’re wondering about the first sketch I did, I kind of accidentally destroyed it with watercolor. It drowned everything; I just had to make another one! For now, I’ll just stick to practicing with coloured pencils. I still have a lot to learn… but I guess it won’t work if I attempt to take it all in at once!

Okay, back to suffering with my finals now!!! Just a little more, then I’m free from misery!

hello! i really like your digital painting style c: is it okay if can you do a little tutorial about it? :3 — Anonymous

Oh myy, hello! :3 Thank you, that’s the first time someone suggested I do one. ;u; I’m still experimenting with the latest style I did, but I’ll definitely try to do one when I’m free.

A few days back, I tried improving character consistency… e_e #art #doodle #drawing #sketch

Practicing colouring in Corel Painter!

I am now determined to use this style for my graphic novel!! However, I’m also worried that I may not be consistent in drawing people’s faces when I start it… =͟͟͞͞ =͟͟͞͞ ヘ( ´Д`)ノ

What do you think of this style? Yay or nay? (  •᷄ ὤ •᷅ )?

I’ve been trying to figure out the best style I should be using for my thesis. This one’s too detailed though, I may have to come up with more styles that I like and aren’t too time-consuming…

I made this with Corel Painter! It’s definitely easier to blend colors but I’ve been using Photoshop as my primary medium for years, so I’m not sure if I’ll be switching programs any time soon.

I recently watched Gone With the Wind! I didn’t expect it to be 3 hours long but it was worth it anyway.

That was the second film I watched that had Vivien Leigh in a leading role, the first being the film Streetcar Named Desire. I really like those types of movies that are based on classic literary works! (I guess that may compensate for my lack of reading? Hopefully… TTuTT )

Anyway, I’m going back to school tomorrow! (Or better yet…later…) I can’t really say I’m thrilled to be suffering again… but I am excited to see my friends! I hope tomorrow will be a good day. ⊂((・▽・))⊃

Hi all! I finally present to you the completed portrait I started last July! click | click

It’s about time I finished this! Due to nonstop stress from college, I never had the chance to continue it. But now I do! For, as much as I’ve already said this, today is the calm before the storm! In short, starting tomorrow and the following two weeks will be the death of me. Repent!! For tremendous workload and days without sleep is among us… 工エエェェ(◑⌓◑)ェェエエ工

Hello all! This was something I made a while back for Shades of Gray, the Benildean Press Corps’ literary folio. It was for a poem entitled “Loving You”. Click here to access my dA post, where I’ve also included the full poem.

It’s a strange kind of love, like loving someone so much that it doesn’t make sense anymore, in my opinion. But ah heck, I might be wrong considering the experiences I even have to base it on. ╮(─▽─)╭

Note: Shades of Gray is not that cheap novel you might be thinking, okay? lol.

excuse me, what kind of watercolour did you use for this: post/40333374010 ? and what kind of paper and pen? basically everything, hehehe~ your art is so beautiful it makes me cry cause i can't even draw a straight line let alone a face ;~; keep up the great work xx — maruzi

Hello! I used Faber Castell’s watercolour pencils and Canson Montval Aquarelle paper for that artwork. And I just used an ordinary ballpen XD

Huhu, thank you and please don’t cry!! I’m sure you can do it; I think a lot of what I learned are from deviantArt tutorials. Maybe you can search there too! C:

A photo of the plant that pricked my friend. (❁´◡`❁)

Look, look!! I made a prototype of Nostalgia, my 2D Animation project! It’s slowly coming to life!! She’s actually dancing!!! (  / ; o ; )/

I bet some of you oldies lovers out there can guess where the inspiration for the choreography comes from heehee.
